Frequent Absence Rule (as per the Ministry of Education) If your child develops a pattern of consecutive absences, the centre will lose funding until the pattern is broken or the child’s permanent booking is changed to reflect the correct days of care and full fees will be charged from the date funding is stopped.

Sibling Discount If more than one child of the same family living at the same residence attends our centre full time, each child will be given a 10% discount*.  Families are entitled to this discount if their booked times are 30 hours or more per child and their account is not in arrears.

Minimum Booked Hours A minimum of 12 hours per week is required for each child that attends the centre.

Late Pick Up Fee The centre is not licensed to care for your child outside of opening hours.  A penalty of $25 per 15 minutes (or part thereof) may be charged if you fail to collect your child within the agreed times.

Casual Enrolment TheFarmyard operates on full class rolls, therefore any casual and extra days will be charged on top of the usual permanent booked days/hours. It is not possible to ‘swap’ booked times around due to daily teacher/child ratios being required throughout our licensed times. However, you can always change your permanent booked days/hours to suit if space allows.

*Discounts are allowed at the discretion of the centre and may be withdrawn at any time.  Discounts will be withdrawn for accounts not paid in accordance with centre policy. Enrolment at the facility confirms your acceptance of the terms and conditions of enrolment.
